We’ve been designing and making modular rabbit systems with our friends at Uncommon Goods. So when this bunny owner asked if we could customise the design to look more like a bunny castle for two pairs of bonded rabbits, we said yes of course 😀
For the first, we created two double-storeyed towers flanking a single-storey hutch which doubled as a connecting bridge. Ramps connect the first level to the second, making it fun and easy for rabbits to go up and down. We love the bunny cut-outs at the entrances!
Here’s the second system we made for the other pair of bonded bunnies. Ginger, one of the bunnies, took to his new playground right away!
As with our other bunny systems, we use untreated birch ply to create these so that they are safe for rabbits to chew.
The system is modular too, and secured by bolts, so the owner could reconfigure the modules anytime. The tops of the towers are removeable just in case the bunnies develop the habit of jumping on the platforms.
